Abstract:The environmental, historical, and human resources of traditional villages are abundant, and they represent an important part of China's cultural heritage. The study reviews the theoretical implications of organic regeneration of traditional villages and examines Tanwan Village in Liuyang City as its subject, we examine the challenge of organic renewal of traditional villages based on the background of "red and green" resources, and we summarise the specific renewal pathways of preserving the original appearance and carrying out living protection, multi-dimensional enhancement and promoting organic renewal, and "red and green" reflecting each other and aiding rural revitalisation. The suggested regeneration paths are intended to offer fresh perspectives on rural rehabilitation as well as on the preservation, revival, and practice of traditional communities.
