The construction of ancient Wind-rain Bridge in Hunan Province shows superb construction skills and advanced management level. This paper takes Wind-rain Bridge Bureau in Zijiang River Valley of Hunan Province as the research object, and analyzes the components and main functions of the bridge bureau on the basis of field investigation, mapping and relevant literature. Taking Yongxi Bridge as a typical example, this paper analyzes the construction organization, construction process and social management under the guidance of Bridge Bureau, and shows the management mode of Bridge Bureau in the process of bridge construction. In this paper, a complete set of bridge construction management system, such as bridge construction planning,fund preparation, construction management and future maintenance, is studied under the overall planning of the Bridge Bureau, which has high reference value for studying the organization, construction and management of ancient Wind-rain bridges.
