Abstract:Pingliang, as a strategic northwestern border fortress and a key town on the Silk Road, is also the location of Kongtong Mountain, holding significant influence in terms of humanities, history, and geography. Museums serve as vital carriers of urban culture and significant reflections of urban spirit. This paper focuses on the architectural design of Pingliang Museum, exploring how exhibition architecture can embody regional and cultural characteristics, creatively transform and innovatively develop traditional construction wisdom, inherit the theoretical framework of "harmonious architectural philosophy," and thereby promote local cultural development while driving the construction of the Silk Road cultural and tourism belt.
